The Antenatal Journey
Pre-Conception Counseling
We provide essential guidance regarding health requirements for a healthy pregnancy.
4-9 Weeks: We recommend scheduling your initial antenatal appointment between 6 and 9 weeks for:
- Pregnancy Confirmation
- In-Depth Medical History Discussion
- Blood Tests
- Booking Scan
- Discussing Birthing Options
13 weeks:This appointment is optional and is conducted by a Sonographer.
Nuchal Translucency Ultrasound (NT USS) and the Down’s serum test are valuable add-ons.
14-24 weeks:These appointments for routine care with a Midwife or a Clinical Associate. Ultrasound scan around 20-22 weeks ensures detailed examination of your baby.
28 weeks-36 weeks:Antenatal Classes: This is a vital part of our program, ensuring expectant mothers and their support network are well-prepared.
36 weeks:This appointment is with an Ob Gyn to confirm your Birth Plan and review any risks.
38 weeks: The midwife will attentively address frequently asked questions (FAQs) to enhance your confidence and knowledge.
40+ weeks: Weekly Antenatal consults until birth with the midwife.
The Midwife, Doula are on standby for the birth of your baby.
